Bermuda Bay

I absolutely LOVE this color (bermuda bay) for Christmas cards. This card was really simple, but cute. The background is embossed with the newest plate from SU.

Happy Anniversary

I made this card for my husband for our anniversary. I wanted to use black and white only....The base is basic black then I ran the whisper white through my sizzix with the swirly texture plate. I also sprayed it with shimmer paint but it didn't really show up to well.
The flower is from the pretties kit (SU) and a button latte in the middle tied with linen thread.
I used the little leaves sizzlit for the 2 stems in the background.

Sweet Season

Still playing around with Christmas designs. This is a 4x4 card....I cut the ornaments out of the Merry Moments designer paper (the background is the reverse side) and stamped the greeting with Sweet Season. I also used elastic cord and dimensionals to attach the cut-outs.

Snow Day

Another 6x6 page from a workshop that I made into a 12x12 page. Just added the snowflakes (sizzix) the snow day rub on and the 3 embossed snowflakes are from the Snow Swirled stamp set.

Dasher

I just got the scallop die and "Dasher" stamp in the mail yesterday, so thought I would make a Christmas card. The DP is from the new mini...Christmas Cocoa Specialty. I put a square rhinestone brad on the reindeer's neck for bling. The antlers also have some Dazzling diamonds glitter on them.

Christmas 2006

...Finally got it scrapped!! Using my favorite Christmas colors: real red, old olive, and chocolate chip! (I cut the numbers out of the Big Deal number set).

Mojo Monday 99

I finally did a mojo challenge in the same week as the sketch! Pretty simple but I like the colors, and had to try my new modern label punch!

Christmas in August?!

I just got a ton of new Christmas paper....yes I ordered every Christmas DP that SU has, I just love it all! I am trying to design some different layouts so I can do a Christmas Stamp-a-Stack.
The stamps are from Snow Swirled (SU) It is hard to see, but I embossed the snowflake with silver shimmer, and wrapped the silver elastic cord around the 1/4 in white ribbon. Not crazy about that, so will change it on the next one!

Rolling...

I used the masks from Tim Holtz again to sponge the background and also used the matching "sprocket" hardware and spinners. This page only cost me about $60 to create!! Of course the grungeboard that I painted silver is also TH, not sure where I got the acrylic arrow from but I sanded it and sponged it with some denim distress ink.

My little drooler

For this layout I used the Tall Tales DP and Animal Stories stamp set to stamp the elephant (I meant to stamp the whale but didn't even notice until now!!) in versa mark in the background. I stamped the outline alphabet on brilliant blue cardstock and cut the letters out. I also added some paper piercing at the corners of the old olive background as well as the picture mat.

The big 13!!!!

I made this card this morning for my oldest son who will be 13 tomorrow, I can't believe it!!
I was using the MOJO 98 sketch for inspiration. The stamp is from Stampers anonymous, which I embossed to match the texture of the paper, and the Grunge board numbers are Tim Holtz...papers are from SU. I also made a little envelope for the gift card on the inside.

Quick page

This page came together quite quickly. I used a die cut phrase which matched the paper (the orange piece is the reverse side of the dots), distressed the edges a bit and inked them....cut out different size circles with my punches from the left over scraps, added some bling flat beads above the phrase, and done!

2 days old

Since the weather has cooled off, I have finally been able to get back in my craft room!
