Gone Fishing

I made this card for my husband, again using Dress Up Billy (PCS), I love these stamps
I tried to make it masculine so no sparkles or ribbons. I hit the copper brads with a hammer to rough them up, and on the inside it says best fishes. As I was taking the paper off of my pop up dots on the back of the Billy image I put my thumb on his forhead and it had some black ink on it....opps, well I wasn't starting over because I was freezing my buns off in the basement, so I decided it is dirt on his face! Oh ya, I also added in some gray hair if you look closely ;)

A Lesson Learned

I painstakingly cut out 2 images of Billy (PCS) One for a mask and one for a card. I left them sitting on the counter to take downstairs while I checked e-mail....My almost 3 year old came by and decided it was too tempting to pass up, and hacked up both Billies! Back to the drawing board!

Thank-You Jessica!

A big thanx to Jess who came over to play yesterday (until we were so cold we had to leave the craftroom and find some heat upstairs!) She was able to help me fix up my blog and teach me a thing or too about this blogging world!

Billy Card

This is for sketch challenge SK121308. I used PCS Dress Up Billy stamps, glossy acccents on the tools, and the screw brads which I thought were perfect for this card! I also put the little tool box on the Enjoy your day stamp (SU) to cover the present that was in the middle of that stamp.

6x6x3x3x3 Challenge!

I used 3 different scallop punches, 3 large brads, and 3-3D layers
Used glossy accents for the eyes and balloon which I cut out,  popped up, and attatched some string to.

More Christmas cards

My pics are getting alittle better!  The moose one is one I did today with another stamp set I picked up yesterday (after swearing NO more Christmas stamps!!)  The other is one inspired by Carrie Gaskin a SU demonstrator.  Used the neighborhood wheel and Mr Twigster for the lights.

Monkey G/C holder

A gift card holder I made for my neice with the cute amuse stamp I bought yesterday!

okay that one worked...let's try again!

Okay, my pictures will get better I promise!  I just "found" my Christmas present, which is a new Nikon camera (don't tell my husband!!)
Anyways....I got the idea for this card from the SU Idea book, but made a few changes to it.  I used glossy accents to make the truck shiny (have no driver because I don't have the accessories set!)

Attempting to make a blog...this is a test!!
