Mini purse

This is using the scallop envelope die from SU. I used baja Breeze, Urban Garden DP and the new brads from the SU mini catalog. Stamp set is Oval All, punched out with the large oval and scallop oval punches. The flower on the purse is the 5 petal flower-I punched 2 and adhered them with a brad and dimensionals.

Wild about you

I have wanted this stamp set for the last 2 years, and finally bought it, it is too cute. This is my first time making a pop-up card, who knew that it would be so easy!
P.S. I dropped the close to cocoa stamp pad face down on my project after I was all done and spongnig the edges, so I had to be creative with the "wild about you" saying...not how I had originally planned it!

Re-doing Christmas Pics

I had already scrapbooked these pages, but wasn't happy with it, so decided to break open one of my many un-opened Simply Scrappin' Kits (SU)!! Now I am happy with the layout....

Yummy

Trying to catch up on some scrapbooking!

Iris Twist card

Unfortunately the dimension in this card wasn't captured, but the So Saffron piece is popped up, and the oval sentiment is also popped up with dimensionals. I used one of the new cord. buttons from the SU spring mini to secure the ribbon.

A must see!!

Sorry Jess, it's mine!!But I might share some Nesties with you!

CAS color challenge

LinkI used the CAS (clean and simple) color challenge colors: kraft, black, and white/ivory (I used very vanilla)
I love how easy this was, yet looks quite elegant with all of the layering. The flower is from "Seeing Spots" (SU) I stamped it on VV and used my 1" punch to cut it out, it is popped up with a dimensional.

Top note die card

I saw this done with the top nop note die somewhere before (SCS I think) and finally tried it my self. I glued 2 panels of DP to a piece of very vanilla then cut it in my Sizzix with the Top Note. The sentiment stamp is from 8 Great Greetings (from the new SU mini catalog)
I also couldn't resist using the butterfly again as it needed something below the sentiment!

Milk It!

I made this quick card for my Uncle who is in the hospital at the moment. Using the set Comfort Food (SU), colored and cut out the milk carton, canvas background....simple!

MOJO

This is for the Mojo Monday 81 sketch. I used rub-ons for the sentiment, the scallop, and for the 3 flowers on the left. The butterfly is a die-cut from spellbinders which I love! (the wings are popped up)

Hoppy Birthday

This is for a litle girls' birthday that my son is attending tomorrow (hence the pink background!)
I embossed the pink background with a sizzix texture plate, attatched it to a 6x6 piece of kraft cardstock, and cut our the frog images. I also embosses the chipboard H with Versamark and thick embossing powder (3 times to make it glossy). Looking at the picture now, I regret adding that ribbon, but I had no matching pink or green ribbon....maybe I will play with that later!

2 challenges in one

I don't usually like 2 step stamping very much but thought I would give this SAB set "Botanical Blooms" a try for the mojo Monday sketch.
I also used the colors for the color throwdown sketch: turquoise, pink, and orange.

Priceless

This is a sort of take on one of the Cuttlebug sketches. I modified it into a 6x6 scrapbook page and didn't use the "technique" they were demo'ing! I am trying to make a 6x6 scrapbook so I don't have to haul my 12x12 to workshops!!

An oldy but a goody

I needed a card for a 1yr old boy so I dug out this retired stamp set (SU).
I used a sizzix texture plate on the brilliant blue, and stamped the tempting turquoise wit TT ink and an itty bitty background stamp with leaves on it. The bugs are popped up with dimensionals as well. I also stamped "bugs and kisses" on the inside!
