Bigshot flower

This didn't turn out exactly as I was expecting but I went with it anyway! I cut out a bunch of large and small scallop circles using the scallop circle #2 die with my Bigshot. I tacked them all together with a needle and thread and layered them, adding a cord button on top and some striped grossgrain ribbon to tie the flower on to the package. Rag Quilt Purse

I got the pattern for this purse from Angie over at Chick'n'scratch.com. She has been making a bunch of these purses. The squares are cut out with square scallop die using my Big shot. I then added the batting in between to squares and quilted each square, then sewed it all together. I think it will make a great b-day gift for my favorite little niece. It might be a cute lunch bag too?!
